DAY 01 MARRAKECH

Arrival at Marrakech or Casablanca airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel of the chosen category. Dinner and accommodation (Dinner is not included for arrivals after 8:00 p.m.).

DAY 02 MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – FES

At the indicated time departure by road (highway) to Casablanca, crossing the Chaouia valley, the most important agricultural center of the country (cereals). Panoramic visit of this “cinematographic” city, economic capital of the country with more than 4 million inhabitants that combines its modern Art-Deco buildings with the old buildings of the thirteenth century, when it was known as Dar El Baida (The White House). You will visit the Mohamed V Square, the popular Corniche (promenade), the luxurious neighborhood of Anfa, and the Hassan II Mosque (Exterior), which highlights its impressive roof and its minaret considered the highest in the world. At the scheduled time departure to Rabat, capital of the country: one of the Moroccan Imperial cities, founded in the twelfth century by the Almohads and today administrative capital of the country, where you can see the Hassan Tower that rises overlooking the esplanade of the unfinished mosque with over 200 columns, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, built in memory of the sultan who won the independence of the country, the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of the Udaya, with its view of the estuary of the river Bouregreg. Continuation to another imperial city, Meknes, panoramic visit of the city founded by Moulay Ismail, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A short walk takes us to Fez. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03 FES

After breakfast departure for a full day city tour: this old city with its 785 mosques and its splendid Medina (old city), is the intellectual and religious capital of the country. Fes is the oldest of the Imperial cities, considered the capital of Islam in Morocco. We start with a panoramic view from one of the hills surrounding the city, then visit the bronze gates of the Royal Palace and then on foot into the medina to visit Medersas (center of Koranic studies), workshops of the neighborhoods of artisans, divided by guilds and in which highlights the spectacular neighborhood of tanners. Fes is much more: colors, flavors, smells, life and sensations that you will never forget. After the visit, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 04 FES – MIDELT – ERFOUD

Departure through the gentle mountains of the Middle Atlas, to reach the city of Midelt known for its carpets and apple agriculture. (Lunch not included). We continue along a beautiful route impregnated with Berber life, crossing the ZIZ valley, passing through Rissani, ancient crossroads of the caravan routes and birthplace of the current Alouite dynasty.

Arrival in Erfoud, on the edge of the great Sahara desert. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

(Optional: Night in the dunes of Merzouga: Arrival in Erfoud, transfer by 4×4 off-road vehicle, we drive on tracks with wide horizons to the high dunes of Merzouga, where you will spend the night in typical Berber tents. Dinner and overnight at the camp. The next day and after watching the sunrise we return to Erfoud).

DAY 05 ERFOUD – TINGHIR (TODGHA GORGES) – OUARZAZATE

Early in the morning you can experience (Optionally) the rewarding experience of witnessing the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga.

Then we will visit another place that nature gives us “Todgha Gorges”: the river Todgha, to save the mountain runs through a narrow gorge with vertical walls over 300 meters high. Free time for lunch (not included).

Departure to the route of the Kasbahs “The Dades Valley”. With this name is known to the route through a series of fortresses built in red adobe, franchedas by four turrets, a beautiful place next to the green oasis that surround them. Departure to the small Berber village of “Kalaa de M’Gouna”, famous for its roses and perfumes. Continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 06 OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH

Breakfast and departure for the visit of Ourzazate: visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt, former residence of Pacha Glaoui, called the Lord of the Atlas. Continuing to one of the highlights of the trip: “The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou”, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. This Kasabah, dotted with crenellated towers, is considered one of the most beautiful in the country and has often been the site of filming movies. Free time for lunch (not included).

Departure through the High Atlas Mountains crossing the “Tizin’Tichka” pass (in Berber “Lost Valley”) through which you will cross the High Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2,260 m, considered as the highest pass in Morocco. Arrival in Marrakech, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07 MARRAKECH

In the morning we will make the monumental visit, starting with the “Minaret of the Koutoubia” (XIII century), sister of the Giralda of Seville, of splendid harmony is now the lighthouse and spiritual center of Marrakech. Visit the “Bahia Palace”, residence of the former vizier, an example of the Muslim Middle Ages and where highlights its hall of ambassadors. Already on foot we headed to the “Jamaa el Fna Square” nerve center of the medina, from where all the alleys and souks that compose it. In the morning it is full of fruit sellers, wicker baskets, sweets, etc….. with the fall of the afternoon everything becomes fascinating when the square is illuminated with a thousand lights and everything seems magical. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 08 MARRAKECH

Breakfast. At the scheduled time transfer to the airport of Casablanca or Marrakech to board our departure flight. End of our services.
