DAY 01 BOGOTA

Regular flight to the City of Bogotá, Colombia. Arrival, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.

 

DAY 02 BOGOTÁ – CITY VISIT WITH MONSERRATE AND GOLD MUSEUM

Today you will get to know the historic center of Bogotá, in the company of one of our representatives, who will pick you up at the hotel lobby. This pedestrian tour begins in the Plaza de Bolívar, we will visit its surrounding streets and you will be able to appreciate buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of Congress and an architectural jewel of Bogotá, the Casa de los Comuneros, the Santa Clara Church Museum, the Casa de Nariño, headquarters of the Presidency and where Antonio Nariño, precursor of Colombian Independence, was born. We will enter the Gold Museum, whose architecture refers to indigenous cosmology and has some 34,000 pieces of gold work from various pre-Hispanic cultures. Later, we will walk in the footsteps of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, visiting the Quinta de Bolívar House Museum. Now, we are preparing to be 3,152 meters closer to the stars and get to know the majestic Cerro de Monserrate, silent watchman of the city of Bogotá. In it is the sanctuary where the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. On Sundays the tour with ascent to Monserrate operates subject to availability and upon request. Descent and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

 

Note: The Gold Museum and the Quinta de Bolívar House Museum are closed every Monday, so you can visit the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda Museum.

 

DAY 03 BOGOTA

Day off to do personal activities. Accommodation.

 

DAY 04 BOGOTA – MEDELLIN

Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Medellin. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Medellin.

 

DAY 05 MEDELLIN – CITY TOUR

At the coordinated time, a representative will pick you up at your hotel, to begin a panoramic tour of some tourist places in Medellín. We will start with the El Poblado neighborhood, a financial, hotel and commercial center; Cerro Nutibara, a natural viewpoint of Medellín and on whose top is a replica of a typical Antioquia town. You will also be able to observe during the tour some of the educational and cultural spaces that this city has to offer: the Botanical Garden, the Explora Park, the Desires Park and the Barefoot Park. The Metropolitan Basilica Cathedral of Medellín is the largest adobe construction in the world. Of course, you can’t miss Plaza Botero, where there are 23 outdoor bronze sculptures by Colombian master Fernando Botero, and a renowned paisa artist. Additionally, you will enjoy a tour of the Medellin metro. In the end, I return to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

 

DAY 06 MEDELLIN

Day off to do personal activities. Accommodation.

 

DAY 07 MEDELLIN – BOGOTA

Breakfast and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of our services.
