ITINERARY

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN MADRID

Departure by intercontinental flight to Madrid. Overnight on board.

DAY 2 MADRID

Arrival at Madrid-Barajas international airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3 MADRID

Accommodation and breakfast. In the morning, panoramic visit of the city with a tour through the most important avenues, squares and buildings: Gran Vía, Cibeles and the City Hall, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente where the Royal Palace is located, Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza Castilla. The rest of the day is free for shopping or personal activities.

DAY 4 MADRID-BORDEAUX

Breakfast and departure to the north of Spain via Burgos and San Sebastian towards the French border and crossing the Pyrenees we will arrive at the city of Bordeaux, capital of Aquitaine and World Heritage Site, an important wine region. Accommodation

DAY 5 BORDEAUX-VALLE DU LOIRE-ORLEANS

Breakfast. Departure via Poitiers and Tours, where a short tour of the fertile Loire Valley begins. Short stop in Amboise to admire its impressive castle and enjoy the medieval town, where Leonardo da Vinci lived. Continue to Chambord castle, free time to visit one of the greatest architectural exponents of this valley. Then on to Orléans, the city of Joan of Arc. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 ORLÉANS-CALAIS-DOVER-LONDON

Breakfast. Departure to the port of Calais, where you will board the ferry to cross the English Channel. Disembarkation at the English port of Dover and continuation by coach to London. Overnight in London.

DAY 7 LONDON

Accommodation and breakfast. In the morning panoramic tour of this cosmopolitan city to see the most interesting sights such as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace with the changing of the Royal Guard, weather permitting. Rest of the day at leisure. We recommend an optional excursion to visit Windsor Castle, considered to be the largest inhabited fortress in the world and the historic center of England, located 50 kms from the capital. On the way back to the city, visit the oldest part of the city, destroyed in the fire of 1666, to see the City of London, the world’s financial center, St Paul’s Cathedral, the famous Tower Bridge, and the oldest fortress in England: the Tower of London.

DAY 8 LONDON

Accommodation and breakfast. Free day for personal activities, to continue getting to know one of the liveliest capitals in the world, shopping in its famous shops or visiting some of its museums.

DAY 9 LONDON-FOLKESTONE-EUROTUNNEL-CALAIS-PARIS

Breakfast and departure to Folkestone to board the “Le Shuttle” train and cross the English Channel through the Eurotunnel to Calais, once in French territory we will continue in our bus to Paris. Overnight stay. Possibility of an optional visit to”Paris Illuminated” and a cruise on the Seine.

DAY 10 PARIS

Accommodation and breakfast. In the morning panoramic tour of the City of Light to visit its most emblematic places such as the Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Ile de la Cité with the imposing Church of Notre Dame, National Palace of the Invalides where the tomb of Napoleon is located, with a brief stop at the Champs de Mars, to photograph the Eiffel Tower. In the afternoon we recommend an optional excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, a World Heritage Site, to see its imposing architecture and beautiful gardens. In the evening, you can optionally attend the Lido de Paris, one of the most famous shows in the world.

DAY 11 PARIS

Accommodation and breakfast. Free day for personal activities. We recommend, in the morning, our optional excursion, visiting the Montmartre or Latin Quarter, as well as the Louvre Museum, with such important works as “The Mona Lisa”, “The Victory of Samothrace”, or “The Venus de Milo”. You can also continue to discover other charming corners of this cosmopolitan city.

DAY 12 PARIS-BRUGES-BRUSSELS

Breakfast and departure to Belgium to reach the beautiful and romantic city of Bruges. Free time to stroll through the old town and visit the Lake of Love, its romantic canals, beautiful buildings, and churches. Continuation to Brussels. Optional visit of some of the most representative monuments such as the Atomium, the Grand Place, Manneken Pis. Overnight stay.

DAY 13 BRUSSELS-ROTTERDAM-THE HAGUE-AMSTERDAM

Breakfast and departure to Rotterdam, the second most important city in Holland. Brief panoramic tour and continuation to The Hague, the administrative capital, with a brief stop to see the buildings containing the various Dutch government bodies. Continuation to Amsterdam. Overnight stay.

DAY 14 AMSTERDAM

Overnight stay and breakfast. In the morning, short panoramic tour along the Amstel, entering the city of canals, seeing the harbor districts, docks, towers, central station, and ending at the Museum Square, the cultural center of Amsterdam, where we will visit one of the famous diamond polishing workshops. Free afternoon. Optional excursion to the typical fishing villages of Marken and Volendam, or take a boat trip along the canals and admire the beautiful architecture of the riverside buildings.

DAY 15 AMSTERDAM-BERLIN

Breakfast and departure on the motorway to enter Germany and reach its capital, the monumental city of Berlin, a symbol of German reunification, which still retains signs of its recent post-war past and has become an important cosmopolitan trendsetting center. Overnight stay.

DAY 16 BERLIN

Accommodation and breakfast. In the morning panoramic tour of the city to familiarize yourself with the main monuments, visiting the most important places of this until recently divided city, and symbol of the reunification: Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament or Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Kurfurstendamn Avenue… and the remains of the wall that divided the city until 1989. Afternoon at leisure for an optional excursion to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

DAY 17 BERLIN-DRESDEN-PRAGUE

Breakfast and departure to the region of Saxony to reach its former capital, Dresden, on the banks of the River Elbe, Germanic cultural capital, which was rebuilt after the bombings of World War II. Free time at leisure. You can enjoy an optional visit to its monumental old town. Continuation to the Czech Republic to reach the city of Prague. Panoramic sightseeing tour of the Old Town Square with its Town Hall and the famous Astronomical Clock dating from 1410, whose figures move every time the time strikes, Tyn Church, St. Nicholas Church, Powder Tower, Wenceslas Square, State Theatre. Overnight stay.

DAY 18 PRAGUE

Accommodation and breakfast. Free day at your disposal to enjoy the city or to make some of the optional visits that will be offered, such as the Castle Hill, to visit the interior of the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Golden Street, Imperial Palace, visit the Church of St. Mary of Victory, known as the iconic Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague, to finish at the Charles Bridge.

DAY 19 PRAGUE-BRATISLAVA-BUDAPEST

Breakfast. Departure via Brno to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. A Short stop to stroll through its small streets, discover its famous folk sculptures, St. Martin’s Church, and St. Michael’s Gate. Continuation of the journey to enter Hungary and arrive in the capital, Budapest. Overnight in Budapest. Free time and the option to take an excursion of Budapest illuminated from St. Gerard’s Hill and a cruise on the Danube.

DAY 20 BUDAPEST

Accommodation and breakfast. Panoramic tour of this unique city, the result of the union in 1873 of the former Buda and Pest. We will walk along the Pest bank, famous for its boulevards, Opera House, Hungarian Parliament, Synagogue, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. On the Buda bank, we will climb up to the hill where the Royal Palace, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion are located to enjoy a beautiful view of the Danube River. In the evening we will have an optional Hungarian folk dinner, where you will taste the gastronomy of the country and enjoy the typical Hungarian and gypsy folk dances.

DAY 21 BUDAPEST-VIENNA

Breakfast. Departure to the Austrian border to reach Vienna. Overnight in Vienna. (Possibility to visit Vienna on arrival in the afternoon).

DAY 22 VIENNA

Accommodation and breakfast. In the morning visit of the former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire walking through the imperial area Hofburg, Heroes’ Square, Cathedral. Panoramic tour along the RingStrasse with the classic Austrian monuments such as the Opera House, the Parliament and the Town Hall until we reach the Danube River, UNO, etc. We will make a stop at the Belvedere Palace, where you will have a beautiful view of its gardens. We will end our visit in the Opera area. Afternoon at leisure with optional visits to the Vienna Woods, Empress Sisi’s Vienna, Hofburg Palace, Vienna Opera House, Schonbrunn Palace.

DAY 23 VIENNA-VENICE

Breakfast. Departure via Graz, Klagenfurt and Villach through breathtaking alpine landscapes and then cross the Italian border to the Gulf of Venice. Arrival and accommodation.

DAY 24 VENICE-FLORENCE

Breakfast. Departure to the Tronchetto to embark to St. Mark’s Square, where we will start our panoramic walking tour of this unique city built on 118 islands with romantic bridges and canals, admiring the magnificent facade of St. Mark’s Basilica, its Belfry, the Doge’s Palace, the famous Bridge of Sighs… Free time at leisure. Possibility to take an optional Gondola ride along the canals and an exclusive navigation on the Venetian Lagoon. Continuation to Florence, capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Renaissance. Overnight stay.

DAY 25 FLORENCE – ROME

Breakfast. Panoramic walking tour of this city full of Art, History and Culture, where Michelangelo or Dante Alighieri passed through. We will visit its important architectural jewels: the Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori, with its beautiful Campanile and the Baptistery with the famous Gates of Paradise by Ghiberti, the Signoria Square, Ponte Vecchio… Afterwards departure to Rome. Overnight in Rome. Possibility of an optional visit to see Baroque Rome, with its famous fountains, squares and papal palaces, from which the Papal States were governed.

DAY 26 ROME

Breakfast and panoramic tour of the Imperial City, Piazza Venezia, Imperial Forums, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, and the imposing St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. Possibility to visit, optionally, the famous Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s frescoes and the interior of St. Peter’s Basilica, using our exclusive reservations, thus avoiding long waiting times. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 27 ROME

Accommodation and breakfast. Free day for personal activities, in which we recommend an optional excursion to Naples, with a brief panoramic tour. Capri, mythical island that captivated the Roman Emperors, for its natural beauties and Pompeii, ancient Roman city buried by the ashes of the Vesuvius volcano in the year 79, to see the best archaeological remains.

DAY 28 ROME-PISA-NICE

Breakfast and departure to Pisa with time to visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, where we will be able to contemplate the monumental complex composed of the Cathedral, Baptistery and the Campanile, the famous Leaning Tower. Continue along the incomparable flower motorway to Nice, capital of the Côte d’Azur. Overnight stay. Possibility to take part in an optional excursion to visit the Principality of Monaco, visiting the historical part, as well as the hill of Monte Carlo where its famous casino is located.

DAY 29 NIZA-BARCELONA

Breakfast. Departure along the Côte d’Azur and through the French Provence region, crossing the Spanish border to the city of Barcelona. Short panoramic tour through its famous Avenues, to admire the contrast between the medieval part and the Catalan modernism, visiting its most representative buildings, Casas Batlló, Amatller, Morera, Milá, Sagrada Familia. Overnight stay.

DAY 30 BARCELONA-ZARAGOZA-MADRID

Breakfast. Departure to Zaragoza. Brief stop to visit the Cathedral-Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, Patron Saint of the Hispanic World. Afterwards, continuation to Madrid. Overnight stay.

DAY 31 MADRID

Breakfast and end of our services. Possibility of extending your stay in Spain or taking part in a tour of Andalusia or Portugal.
