ITINERARY

DAY 01 MEXICO CITY

Arrival at the Mexico City airport, reception and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free time to stroll through the streets of the exclusive Polanco area, you can visit the Antara Polanco Shopping Center, enjoy an ice cream while walking in Lincoln Park and Presidente Masarik Avenue or stroll in La Condesa, Have a coffee or a hot chocolate in Cafe El Jarocho, in Coyoacan. DAY 02 MEXICO CITY + XOCHIMILCO

Breakfast. In the morning we will begin the tour of the city visiting the National Palace, where (if the authorities allow it) we will be able to appreciate the beautiful murals by the great Mexican artist Diego Rivera; the Plaza de la Constitución or zócalo and the Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as the main avenues, such as the Paseo de la Reforma. Later we will visit the Chapultepec forest and one of the most important residential areas of the city. In the afternoon we will continue our journey to Xochimilco where we will see the beautiful trajineras decorated with flowers, in which we will take a walk between canals. Back to the hotel. We will pass panoramically through the University City where we will see the rectory building and the Central Library where we will admire a mural painted by Juan O Gorman, and the mural of the Olympic Stadium painted by Diego Rivera. DAY 03 BASILICA OF GUADALUPE + PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACAN

Breakfast. We will start our day visiting the second sanctuary most frequented by Catholics from all over the world: The Basilica of Guadalupe. Time to attend the holy mass. We will continue our journey to Teotihuacán, upon arrival we will visit a handicraft store to witness a brief demonstration of how textiles and handicrafts were made in ancient Teotihuacán using stones such as jade and obsidian and metals such as silver. Visit of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Citadel with its temple to Quetzalcóatl, the Avenue of the Dead and the Temple of the Jaguar and the Temple of the Snails. Return to the city and accommodation.

DAY 04 MEXICO CITY – GUADALAJARA

Desayuno. Tiempo libre para pasear por las calles de la exclusiva Zona de Polanco, podrá recorrer el Centro Comercial Antara Polanco, El Parque Lincoln y Avenida Presidente Masarik o pasear en La Condesa. A la hora indicada traslado al aeropuerto de Ciudad de México para tomar el vuelo con destino a Guadalajara. Llegada a Guadalajara traslado al hotel. Tarde libre para conocer La Perla Tapatía, la cuna del Mariachi, la tierra del tequila, ésta ofrece un sin fin de actividades que hacer, desde caminar por la vieja zona de Chapultepec mientras degusta una típica «nieve raspada», hasta disfrutar un paseo por el centro comercial más lujoso «Andares» para hacer compras. DAY 05 GUADALAJARA CITY TOUR AND TLAQUEPAQUE

Breakfast at the hotel. After a tour of the old and modern residential areas of the beautiful “Perla Tapatía”, we will arrive at the Historic Center, where we will visit the beautiful colonial monuments such as: the Government Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Degollado Theater, the Plaza Tapatía and the Cabañas Cultural Institute, as well as the squares full of history that surround the Cathedral. We continue with a visit to Tlaquepaque, which offers us old mansions that are perfect showcases of the beautiful Mexican crafts. Accommodation.

DAY 06 TEQUILA

Breakfast at the hotel. On the way to the city of Tequila, we will be able to appreciate the maguey plantations called Agave Azul Tequilana Weber, with its characteristic blue-gray color from which the base for the elaboration of the famous national drink “El Tequila” is extracted. In the city of Tequila, we will visit the center of the city and then see the current process of making tequila in a modern distillery. Get to know and try the different types of tequila. DAY 07 GUADALAJARA – PUERTO VALLARTA
