ITINERARY

DAY 01 FRANKFURT

Breakfast.
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Frankfurt, the financial and commercial center of Germany, is marked by its fascinating contrasts between the modern and the historical. Accommodation at the Mövenpick Frankfurt City Hotel.

DAY 02 FRANKFURT – HEIDELBERG – BLACK FOREST

Breakfast.
In the morning transfer to the city of Heidelberg to visit its famous castle. Then stroll through the old city center. Heidelberg, the oldest university town in Germany, is one of the most visited places due to its idyllic location on the banks of the Neckar River. Then travel to the famous Black Forest region. Tonight you will have an authentic experience: a typical Black Forest dinner and a wonderful night in a hotel with idyllic location. If you wish you can take a short walk to the beautiful “Ravenna Gorge” or see the oldest chapel of the region, both are next to the hotel. Accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen.

DAY 03 BLACK FOREST – LAKE TITI – LINDAU – FÜSSEN

After breakfast there will be a short presentation on the production of cuckoo clocks. Afterwards, you will visit a small, traditional farm where you can taste cheese and get a glimpse of real life in the Black Forest. At noon, stop at Lake Titi. Continue the journey to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which offers spectacular views of the Alps. Then drive to Füssen, the southernmost point of the “Romantic Road”. Overnight at the BigBox Hotel.

DAY 04 NEUSCHWANSTEIN – WIESKIRCHE – OBERAMMERGAU – LINDERHOF – ETTAL ABBEY

Breakfast.
The day begins with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the famous “Mad King”. At noon drive to Oberammergau, a village famous for its passion play and handicrafts. On the way visit of the Wieskirche church declared World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. In the afternoon visit of the Linderhof Castle, one of the three castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where he lived the longest. Afterwards short stop at the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal. Continuation of the trip to the city of Innsbruck in Austria, located in the Inn Valley and in the middle of the Alps. Accommodation at the Hotel Grauer Bär.

DAY 05 INNSBRUCK – MUNICH

Breakfast.
A city tour awaits you in the morning. The capital of Tyrol offers modern architecture and historic buildings that invite you to take a fascinating journey into the past of the Habsburger family. In the afternoon transfer to Munich. Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center Hotel.

DAY 06 MUNICH

Breakfast.
Visit of the main attractions of the city ending at the main square “Marienplatz” to admire the famous carillon of the town hall. Munich, capital of the state of Bavaria, is famous for its “Beer Festival” held in September. Free time at leisure. In the evening you can enjoy a typical Bavarian dinner.

DAY 07 MUNICH – ROTHENBURG – OB DER TAUBER – FRANKFURT

Breakfast.
Departure to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities of the “Romantic Road”. Walk through the dream city for romantics. Continuation of the journey to Frankfurt. The tour ends at the Frankfurt airport around 5 p.m… Then transfer to the Mövenpick Frankfurt City Hotel for passengers with additional nights.
