This the departing meeting and finish point for our tour- The square with a bronze horse rider monument in honor of Panama Military hero who fought in the independences wars of South American nations against the Spanish Empire, as part of the forces led by Simon Bolivar. Iconic buildings such as Casa Casco and the American Trade Hotel.

This 17th Century structure is one the oldest Colonial District, run by the Agustinian order, there we'll appreciate the Famous his Golden Altar, a masterpiece of baroque architecture.

Stop At: Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesus, Avenida A & Calle 7, panama city, Panama City Panama

We'll visit The ruins of the old Jesuits' Convent that served as a University during the 17th Century. Nowadays part of this complex has become a luxury hotel, your guide will tell you history of this facility and the presence of the Jesuits in Panama.

Stop At: El Arco Chato, Calle 3 Casco Viejo, Panama City Panama

Well visit the Arco Chato (Flat Arch), located at the ruins of the Saint Dominic's Convent. This odd version of the Roman Arch defies the laws of engineering was an element use to convince the United States government to build the Canal in the panamanian territory. The guide will provide you with insight about the history of this structure and his own local experiences at this facility.

  • The French square: a monument honoring the French Canal construction effort during the 19th century.

The main square of the City, a place where Panama Independence was declared in 190, its surrounded by buildings of Importance: Such as:

  • The Central Hotel: the oldest running hotel in the nation opened in 1874.
  • The Canal Museum: the former headquarters used by the French company during their 19th century construction effort.
  • The City Hall: a Neo-classic style building constructed in 1910, home of Panama city municipal council.
