Athens – Mykonos – Santorini – Crete

ITINERARY

DAY 01 ATHENS

Arrival at Athens airport, transfer to the hotel. Athens is the capital of Greece. It was also at the center of Ancient Greece, a powerful empire and civilization. In the city, the geographical sites of the 5th century BC still dominate, including the Acropolis, a citadel on a hill with ancient buildings, such as the Parthenon temple with its columns. Sculptures, vases, jewelry, and other items from Ancient Greece are preserved in the Acropolis Museum and the National Archaeological Museum. Overnight stay. 

DAY 02 ATHENS

After breakfast, the day begins with an excursion to the stunning Acropolis with a panoramic view of Athens. The Parthenon, a classic symbol of architecture, built entirely of white marble. The Parthenon is the largest temple erected in honor of the goddess Athena. The panoramic tour takes us to the most important parts of the city such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Parliament and the Panathinaikon Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the city. Overnight stay. 

DAY 03 ATHENS – MYKONOS

Early morning breakfast and transfer to the port of Piraeus to board the ferry to Mykonos. Arrival to the island with the most atmosphere and fun, transfer to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. You can stroll through the narrow streets lined with the most famous shops, visit hundreds of small churches or take pictures of the famous windmills and the little white houses with flowers on the balconies. Enjoy an unforgettable evening. Watch the sunset by the sea. Overnight stay. 

DAY 04 MYKONOS

Breakfast. Enjoy the day at leisure to visit the stunning and cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, the meeting place of the world’s most famous celebrities, with its beautiful golden sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and lively nightlife. Overnight stay. 

DAY 05 MYKONOS

Breakfast. Free day for personal activities, if you wish, you can do water activities enjoying the clear waters of the Aegean, or simply contemplate the view of the Aegean while delighting your senses with music, drinks and typical food. Accommodation.

DAY 06 MYKONOS – SANTORINI

Breakfast and at the indicated time transfer to the port to take the ferry to Santorini. Arrival to the famous island of love, transfer to the chosen hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 07 SANTORINI

Morning at leisure in Santorini to admire its picturesque capital, Fira, with its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, outdoor cafes and restaurants on the cliff edge, accessible by car, cable car or mule. Take advantage of a ride on a caiqui (traditional small boat) for a cruise in Caldera, through the two volcanic islands Palea Kameni and Nea Kameni (stop at the hot springs in shades of green and yellow), as well as the island Tirássia. Overnight stay.

DAY 08 SANTORINI

Breakfast. Departure to start the five-hour cruise, enjoying the hidden treasures of one of the most photographed islands of the Cyclades, Santorini. Beaches, hot springs and all this unique Mediterranean atmosphere accompanied with a menu of Greek cuisine. An exciting and romantic adventure. Accommodation

DAY 09 SANTORINI – HERAKLION

Breakfast. Transfer to the port to take the ferry to Crete. Arrival at the port of Heraklion, welcome by our correspondent and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Heraklion is the capital of Crete and the largest city on the island, renowned for the Venetian walls that surround it and its bustling markets. Overnight stay.

DAY 10 HERAKLION

Breakfast. Enjoy your day on the largest of the Greek islands. Crete has numerous attractions such as the city of Heraklion (where the palace of Knossos is located), Agios Nikolaos, Chania, Elounda, Rethymno and the Samaria Gorge. DAY 11 HERAKLION
