ITINERARY
DAY 01 VANCOUVER
Flight to Vancouver. Reception at the airport with delivery of travel documents and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02 VANCOUVER
Today we will visit the city of Vancouver (included). We start the tour in Yaletown, the modern and vibrant neighborhood, to move to the exotic Chinatown, the largest in Canada. The tour through its streets gives us a glimpse of its culture and way of life. A few minutes from there, we arrive at the endearing Gastown, with an original steam clock and the small stores, galleries and top-notch restaurants. We will tour Vancouver’s financial center with its huge skyscrapers reflecting contemporary architecture. Vancouver has one of the most important ports in the world. The cruise terminal to Alaska, Canada Place, has become a symbol of the city with its white roof in the shape of five sails. One and a half million passengers embark here every summer. The Olympic cauldron is also located there. A few minutes from the port we arrived at Stanley Park, the largest municipal park in the country, offering a wonderful view of the bay, the city and the Coastal Mountains. We stop to take pictures of some authentic Indian totem poles that represent one of the art forms of the First Nations. At the exit of the park we can see the beach of English Bay, following the walk to the Burrard Bridge. Finishing our visit to the city, we will enter Granville Island with its local crafts and seafaring atmosphere in the small marina. This island has the best public market in Vancouver, where you can have a snack of typical West Coast food or just enjoy the atmosphere and live music with which we delight the singers or musicians who abound in the area. Afternoon at leisure. We recommend visiting the following attractions on your own, transfers not included: FlyOver Canada (optional) or Vancouver Lookout (optional). Or take the North Vancouver Tour (6 passenger’s minimum – optional). Overnight.
DAY 03 VANCOUVER
Free day. We suggest taking the Victoria Tour (optional). Board the ferry that will take you to Vancouver Island where the capital of British Columbia is located: Victoria, famous for its strong English style, they say that here they are more English than in England . . . where it is still customary to take tea with sandwiches in Victorian halls. And of course to complete this tour you must visit the world famous Butchart Gardens, where works created by the hand of man and nature are combined, a place where harmony reigns. Return to Vancouver by ferry. Overnight.
