DAY 01 MEXICO CITY (ARRIVAL)

Arrival at the Mexico City airport, reception and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Free time to stroll through the streets of the exclusive Polanco area, you can visit the Antara Polanco Shopping Center, enjoy an ice cream while walking in Lincoln Park and Presidente Masarik Avenue or stroll in La Condesa, Have a coffee or a hot chocolate in Cafe El Jarocho, in Coyoacan. DAY 02 MEXICO CITY – CITY TOUR

Breakfast. Next, we will have a tour of the most representative places of the Mexican Capital, we will start with the National Palace, located in the Plaza de la Constitución or Zócalo, we will continue to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest church in Latin America. If something is representative of Mexico, it is the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, which shows vestiges of pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern constructions. The Craft Market is visited. DAY 03 MEXICO CITY – BASILICA OF GUADALUPE AND PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACAN

Breakfast. We will start our day visiting the second sanctuary most frequented by Catholics from all over the world: The Basilica of Guadalupe. Time to attend the holy mass. We will continue our journey to Teotihuacán, upon arrival we will visit a handicraft store to witness a brief demonstration of how textiles and handicrafts were made in ancient Teotihuacán using stones such as jade and obsidian and metals such as silver. Visit of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Citadel with its temple to Quetzalcóatl, the Avenue of the Dead and the Temple of the Jaguar and the Temple of the Snails. Return to the city and accommodation.

DAY 04 MEXICO CITY – PUEBLA – OAXACA

Appointment around 07:30 am in the hotel lobby. Departure to Puebla de Los Angeles, visiting Santa María Tonantzintla on the way, with its impressive church that stands out for its interior decorated in gold and the richness of its elements in the indigenous baroque style. Arrival in Puebla, popularly known as the “City of Angels”, a colonial architectural jewel and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit of: the Chapel of the Rosary, the Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor and the Historic Center. Lunch. Transfer to the city of Oaxaca. Accommodation.

DAY 05 MONTE ALBAN – MITLA – TULE

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Monte Albán, an archaeological zone built on a mountain, where it is possible to find manifestations of the Olmec, Zapotec and Mixtec cultures such as: the Great Plaza, the Observatory, Tomb No. 7, the Stelae of the Dancers, among others. Transfer to Mitla, the “Place of the Dead”, an important archaeological zone with beautiful decoration based on symbolic frets. Visit to the Tule Tree, considered the tree with the most voluminous trunk in the world. Tour of the main streets of the beautiful colonial city of Oaxaca. Visit of: the Cathedral, the magnificent Temple of Santo Domingo and the Gold Museum. Accommodation.

DAY 06 OAXACA – SUMIDERO CANYON – SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

Early departure to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. Breakfast on route. You will enjoy the landscape offered by the orography and flora of the Sierra. Arrival and transfer to the Grijalva River pier, to tour the imposing Sumidero Canyon by boat, a geological wonder whose walls reach a height of 1,000 meters at their highest point. Transfer to San Cristóbal de Las Casas passing through Chiapa de Corzo. Accommodation.

DAY 07 SAN CRISTOBAL – INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES – SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the area known as the Altos de Chiapas to visit the communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, typical indigenous populations that preserve their traditions, religious beliefs and social organization. Its churches, houses and clothes are very picturesque. Return to San Cristóbal de Las Casas, free afternoon. We suggest walking through the streets of this beautiful city and visiting the Market, Santo Domingo, the Cathedral and the Jade Museum, where there is a replica of the Tomb of King Pakal. DAY 08 SAN CRISTOBAL – BLUE WATER – PALENQUE

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Agua Azul Waterfalls. Formed by the tributaries of the Shumuljá, Otulún and Tulijá rivers, these waterfalls with crystal clear waters and beautiful turquoise hues are also a refuge for abundant vegetation and wildlife. Its shallow canyons with cliffs become natural pools where it is possible to cool off. If time permits, the Misol-Ha waterfall will also be visited. Transfer to Palenque. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 09 PALENQUE – CAMPECHE

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, nestled in the jungle. One of the most important in the Mayan World, both for its historical findings and for its beauty. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, the sarcophagus of King Pakal was found, with a tombstone engraved in relief. DAY 10 CAMPECHE – UXMAL – MERIDA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Uxmal. Visit of this archaeological zone considered one of the most representative ancient cities of the Puuc region. Among its most outstanding buildings are: the Pyramid of the Magician, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, the Governor’s Palace and the Ball Court. Lunch and continuation to Mérida, “The White City” where you will enjoy a panoramic tour of the main streets of the city, visiting: the Paseo de Montejo, the Monument to the Fatherland, the Main Square with the Cathedral and the Government Palaces. . DAY 11 MERIDA – CHICHEN ITZÁ – CANCUN

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Chichen Itza, the best known of the Mayan archaeological sites in Yucatan, named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”. You visit: the Castle or Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Caracol, the Church, the Temple of the Warriors, the Group of the Thousand Columns, the Platform of Venus, the Tzompantli and the Ball Court; as well as the Sacred Cenote which is believed to have been used for ceremonial purposes, including human sacrifice. DAY 12 CANCUN (FREE DAY)

This day will be free at your disposal; we suggest visiting the archaeological zone of Tulum or you can simply relax in the hotel enjoying the beaches of Cancun or do some of the possible water activities such as scuba diving, kayaking or snorkeling. In the afternoon you can get to know the city of Cancun and end up in one of its delicious restaurants with international cuisine. Accommodation.

DAY 13 CANCUN (FREE DAY)

Breakfast. Free day at your disposal. We suggest you visit one of the unmissable parks of Xcaret, Xel-Há and Xplor, where you can choose the activities you want: an entertaining bike ride through all of nature, swimming with dolphins, zip lines over lagoons and enjoying the shows of prehispanic dance. The rest of the day you can enjoy a set of streams, lakes and cenotes bathed by the turquoise waters of the longest underground river in the world. Accommodation.

DAY 14 CANCUN (FREE DAY)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day, optionally you can do the full day excursion to Chitzén Itzá; a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 and one of the New Wonders of the World in 2007. Stop for a swim in a nearby cenote before a certified guide leads you through the ancient capital of the Mayan Empire, considered the most important of Yucatan. Visit the ball court, El Castillo (the Castle), the Pyramid of Kukulkan, and the Temple of the Warriors.
