ITINERARY

DAY 01 LONDON

Flight to London. Overnight on board.

DAY 02 LONDON – DUBAI

Arrival in London, waiting time for flight to Dubai.

DAY 03 DUBAI

Arrival at the airport of the United Arab Emirates. We will take the “Classic Dubai” tour. This tour will take you to the magnificent sights of the Dubai Creek inlet, passing through the heritage area of Bastakiya and its fascinating old houses with characteristic wind towers built by wealthy merchants. Next, we will visit the 225-year-old Al Fahidi Fortress. It is here that Dubai’s museum preserves valuable archives about the city’s past, as well as chronicles of its different phases of development. Then you will board a traditional boat called “abra” to cross the inlet and visit the spice market and the gold souk. Then along the Jumeirah road, views of the Jumeirah Mosque. Stop for photos at the Burj al Arab the only 7 star hotel in the world passing by the World Trade Center and the International Financial Center and at the end we will pass by the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, optionally, you can climb to the observation deck on the 124th floor, (return to the hotel for passengers who do not want to stay in Dubai Mall after the optional stop or climb (at additional cost) to Burj Khalifa, passengers who wish to stay in the Mall for shopping and attend the show of the dancing fountains, should return to the hotel on their own). Overnight stay.

DAY 04 DUBAI

Breakfast. In the afternoon optional visit (at additional cost) to the desert for the “Safari Tour” with BBQ dinner. This tour by jeep 4×4 up the dunes in the desert, on the way stop to see the camels and the wonderful sunset. Arrival at the camp with traditional Arabian welcome. Relax in the Bedouin tents to decorate your hands with “henna”, make a short ride with the camel and take the “shisha”. Return to the hotel. In the evening optional visit (at additional cost) to dine on the boat “Dhow Cruise”. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 05 DUBAI

Breakfast. Day at leisure. Possibility to take the optional full day tour of Abu Dhabi, 2 hours’ drive from Dubai via Jebel Ali Port, the largest man-made port in the world, to the capital of the Emirates. Photo stop at the Jazirra Residence, former residence of Sheikh Zayed. We will admire the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the 3rd largest in the world, as well as the tomb of Sheikh Zayed, former president of the Emirates and father of the nation. Continue to Al Maqta Bridge passing through one of the richest areas of Abu Dhabi, the Ministers Area. Arrival at the Corniche Street which is compared to Manhattan. Photo stop at the Emirates Palace Hotel; this hotel has its own helipad and harbor. Continue to Al Batee, where the palaces of the Royal family are located. Overnight.

DAY 06 DUBAI

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility to take the optional tour (at additional cost – purchased directly at destination) to Sharjah: the emirate of Sharjah is only 20 minutes from the center of Dubai, and has established itself as the cultural center of the Middle East. Our tour starts at the Monumental Rotunda of Culture, before going to the Museum of Islamic Civilization, then we will head to the Corniche, with the Al Majara Gold Souk and in the heart of the heritage district where the Al Naboodah Chamber and the Al Arsa souk give an idea of how people used to live in the old days. We continue in the Central Souk, with its typical Arab architecture. We finish with a visit to the Sharjah Aquarium which is very interesting to know the maritime life of the Sharjah coast and then. Return to Dubai. Overnight in Dubai.

DAY 07 DUBAI

Breakfast. Free day. Overnight.

Possibility to take the optional tour (at additional cost) to the EAST COAST FUJAIRAH. The excursion begins with a drive through the desert landscape via Al Daid to Masafi. Just before arriving in Masadi, we will stop at the local market: “Friday Market”, which has been set up by traders since ancient times. You can find everything from fruits, houseplants, toys, ceramics, tapestries and all kinds of gifts. Continuation through the Hajar Mountains down to the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman. Lunch at a 4 star beach hotel, on the way back visit the Bidiyah Mosque, the oldest mosque in the UAE. Our route continues along the coast of KhorrFakkan. En route will pass through Fujairah, the only emirate on the east coast, return to hotel, overnight.

DAY 08 DUBAI

Breakfast. Free day. Overnight.

DAY 09 DUBAI – AMMAN

Breakfast. At scheduled time transfer to the airport to take flight to Amman. Arrival to the capital of Jordan. Visa formalities. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation

DAY 10 AMMAN

Breakfast, optional (not included – at additional cost) panoramic tour of the CITY OF AMMAN NEW AND OLD, known as Philadelphia: a tour of the modern area, proceed to the center of the city with a view from the Citadel. Continuation to the Roman theater; then departure to the traditional markets, churches, mosques, as well as residential neighborhoods. Visit of Jerash, and Ajloun. Jerash is one of the most complete and best preserved Greco-Roman cities of the Roman Empire known as Pompeii of the east, indicating the great example of Roman urbanization. A journey through time through its streets, theaters, temples and squares including the Great Colonnade, the Arch of Triumph, the Oval Square and the Temples of Zeus and Artemis. Continuation to Ajloun Castle, located on top of the mountain where there is a beautiful view. Fortress built by one of Saladin’s generals in 1185 A.D. in the time of the Ayyubids. C. in the Ayyubid times to control the iron mines in the area, which is a perfect example of Islamic architecture, as it was rebuilt during the thirteenth century by the Mamluks. Ajloun castle dominated the three main routes leading to the Jordan Valley and protected the trade routes between Jordan and Syria; so it became a strategic defensive point at the time of the Crusaders. Return to Amman.

DAY 11 AMMAN – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – OPTIONAL DEAD SEA – AQABA

Breakfast. Departure to Madaba the “City of Mosaics” where you will visit the church of St. George which houses the map of the Holy Land made in 571 BC. Continuation to Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses and from the top of which there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and visit of its Franciscan church. Optional visit (not included – additional cost) of the DEAD SEA for HALF DAY.

DAY 12 AQABA – PETRA – AQABA

Full day visit to the Nabataean city of Petra, one of the wonders of the world, carved out of pink rock more than 2000 years ago. Access to the entrance of the gorge (Siq). From there we will continue to reach the impressive monumental complex of the Treasury (El Khazneh). Visit the theater, the altar of sacrifice, the street of columns and the royal tombs. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 13 AQABA – OPTIONAL WADI RUM – AQABA

Breakfast. Optional visit (not included – at additional cost) of the desert of Wadi Rum, one of the scenes of the movies “The Martian” and “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker”, and one of the most spectacular environments in the Middle East. It is a desert of red sand, on which rise Granite Mountains and peaks of golden and reddish colors, as well as different drawings carved in red stone. Tour, classic tour, in a 4×4 vehicle through the breathtaking scenery for about 2 hours. Departure by road to Amman. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 14 AQABA – LUXOR

Breakfast and free morning. Later transfer to the airport to take the flight to Luxor. Arrival and visit to the grandest monumental complex of Antiquity: the Temples of Karnak and Luxor built by dozens of pharaohs over nearly 2000 years of history. Transfer to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 15 LUXOR – ESNA – EDFU

Full board on board. In the morning we will cross the Nile to visit the necropolis of Thebes, where we will admire the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs and their wives are buried. We will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Dair Al Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. We will sail to Esna to pass the lock and continue to Edfu. Overnight on board.

DAY 16 EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN

Full board on board. Visit the Temple dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus, built by the Ptolemies, the second largest and the best preserved in Egypt. Continuation to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple dedicated to the Gods Sobek and Haroeris. We will also see a nilometer, used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the water level of this river. Navigation to Aswan. Overnight on board.

DAY 17 ASWAN – CAIRO

Breakfast. Possibility of an optional excursion (at additional cost) to the TEMPLES OF ABU SIMBEL. Morning visit of the High Dam of Aswan and the granite quarry with the unfinished obelisk weighing almost 200 tons. Later in the afternoon ride on “Faluca”, a typical Egyptian sailing boat, around Elephantine Island Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay. Breakfast

DAY 18 CAIRO

Breakfast. Morning visit to the pyramids of Giza, a funerary complex formed by the pyramids of Cheops, one of the seven wonders of the World, Chephren, Mikerinos, the Sphinx of Chephren and the Temple of the Valley. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening we suggest an optional (with additional cost) LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW AT THE PYRAMIDS. Lodging. Breakfast

DAY 19 CAIRO

Breakfast. Free day. Overnight.

Optional excursion (at additional cost) to the EGYPTIAN MUSEUM where thousands of original pieces of Ancient Egypt, including the Treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun; The Citadel of Saladin; The Mosque of Mohamed Ali; The Coptic Quarter where the Church of the Holy Family and Khan Khalili Bazaar are located.
