ITINERARY

DAY 01 ATHENS

Arrival at Athens International Airport, reception, and transfer to the hotel. Athens owes its name to Athena, protective goddess born from the head of Zeus, whose history is confused with that of Greece itself, is the center of economic, political, and cultural life of the country. Cradle of great artists and philosophers of antiquity. Overnight stay.

DAY 02 ATHENS – MYKONOS

Breakfast. Transfer to the port of Piraeus to embark and start the 4-day cruise to the Aegean Islands and Kusadasi (Turkey). Arrival in Mykonos at 18:00h and departure at 23:00h. Lunch and Dinner included.

DAY 03 KUSADASI – PATMOS

Arrival in Kusadasi at 07:00h. Excursion to ancient Ephesus included. Departure at 13:00h and arrival at Patmos at 17:45h. Departure at 21:00h.

DAY 04 RHODES

Arrival in Rhodes at 07:00h. Included excursion to Rhodes and the Acropolis of Lindos. Departure at 18:00h.

DAY 05 HERAKLION – SANTORINI

Arrival in Heraklion (Crete) at 07:00h. Departure at 12:00h and arrival at 16:30h on the island of Santorini. Departure at 21:30h.

DAY 06 PIRAEUS – ATHENS

Breakfast. In the morning, visit of the city: Constitution Square, the Parliament, the National Library, the University, and the Academy. Passing through Herodou Atticus Street we can see the former Royal Palace and opposite the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, guarded by the picturesque Evzones and their traditional uniform, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus, and Hadrian’s Arch. We arrive at the Acropolis with entrance included enjoying the works of the time of Pericles, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. Afternoon at leisure, you can visit the new Acropolis Museum or stroll through the typical Plaka district, Syntagma Square, also known as Constitution Square in the heart of the city one of the most popular places in the city, or watch the changing of the guard of the Evzones which takes place every hour. The rest of the afternoon is free for a stroll through the wonders of central Athens, (discover Theseion, Placa, and Monastiraki), full of ancient surprises, all in close distance from Acropolis. Overnight stay.

DAY 07 ATHENS – EPIDAURUS – MYCENAE – OLYMPIA

Breakfast and departure for the 4 days tour. Departure to the Corinth Canal. Continue to Epidaurus, where the famous, for its natural acoustics, the Theater of Epidaurus is located. Then we arrive at Mycenae, one of the most famous cities of prehistoric times. In the afternoon arrival in Olympia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08 OLYMPIA – DELPHI

Breakfast and visit of the ancient city of Olympia, center of veneration of Zeus, where in ancient times the Olympic competitions were held. Visit to the Stadium and other Olympic facilities. We will also visit the Museum of Olympia. In the afternoon arrival at Delphi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 09 DELPHI – KALAMBAKA

Breakfast. In Delphi we will visit the Oracle of Apollo, one of the most sacred sanctuaries of Greece, located on Mount Parnassus, and the Museum where, among other works, we will see the famous bronze sculpture “the Auriga of Delphi”. In the afternoon departure to Kalambaka. Arrival dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10 KALAMBAKA – ATHENS

Breakfast and visit of two Hanging Monasteries of Meteora, religious and monastic center between the XII-XVIII centuries. On the way back to Athens we pass by Thermopylae, where we will see the statue of the Spartan King Leonidas. Return to Athens in the afternoon. Overnight in Athens. Breakfast

DAY 11 ATHENS

Breakfast and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of services. End of our services.
