DAY 01 MOSCOW

Arrival according to the date with destination to the city in connection for the flight to Moscow. Reception. Accommodation

 

DAY 02 MOSCOW

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel to have breakfast. At the indicated time there will be a panoramic tour of the Russian capital: Red Square – one of the largest squares in the world located at the foot of the walls of the old Kremlin, also famous for the Lenin Mausoleum and Saint Basil’s Cathedral. You will enjoy the view known throughout the world: that of the Kremlin from the river promenade of Hagia Sophia. 7 buildings – the towers, built after World War II are symbols of Soviet Moscow. An excellent panorama with the famous Cathedral of Christ the Savior can be enjoyed from the observation deck of Moscow University. Also visit the famous Moscow metro, considered the most beautiful in the world. For the first time in world history, all the constructions of an underground railway were designed as a single architectural ensemble. The subway stations are adorned with statues and reliefs, paintings, mosaics, stained glass windows. Free afternoon for personal activities. Accommodation.

 

DAY 03 MOSCOW

Breakfast. Day off. We recommend you take an optional visit to Sergiev Posad, which represents a collection of excellent monuments of Russian culture created in the period from the 15th to the 17th century. We will visit the monastery of the Holy Trinity and Saint Sergius, known among foreigners as the “Russian Vatican”. It is the place of pilgrimages for Orthodox believers who come here to see the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh, the founder of the monastery. I return to Moscow. Free afternoon to enjoy the city. DAY 04 MOSCOW - SAINT PETERSBURG

Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the railway station to take the day train to St. Petersburg. Arrival and panoramic tour of the city founded by Tsar Peter the Great on the banks of the Neva River. During the visit we will visit Nevsky Avenue, the main street of the city; we will admire the cathedrals of Saint Isaac and the Virgin of Kazan, the Palace Square and the Winter Palace, the Admiralty, the Summer Garden, the Aurora Cruiser, etc. We will visit the Fortress of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the first building in Saint Petersburg, famous for its impressive Cathedral, pantheon of the Russian tsars. DAY 05 SAINT PETERSBURG

DAY 06 SAINT PETERSBURG - HELSINKI

Breakfast. Travel to the Finnish border by bus or high-speed train to Helsinki. After border procedures continuation to our destination. Arrival and accommodation.

 

DAY 07 HELSINKI – (FERRY) – STOCKHOLM

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the capital of Finland also known as “the white city of the north”. During the visit we will pass through the Orthodox Church of the Trinity, a vestige of Russian rule, the Senate Square, the Toumiokirkko, a circular Lutheran church carved into the rock whose dome is shaped like a gigantic spiral of copper wires. Free time for personal activities. At 3:30 p.m. (subject to change) transfer to the port to board the Viking Line cruise to Stockholm. During the crossing you will pass through a beautiful archipelago of more than 24,000 islands that stretches along the Swedish and Finnish coasts. Accommodation.

 

DAY 08 STOCKHOLM

Breakfast and disembarkation at 10:00 hrs. (subject to change), the panoramic visit of the city of Stockholm is made. The Swedish capital is based on 14 islands connected to each other by beautiful bridges and is known worldwide as “The Queen of the Waters”. Time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon you will continue exploring the city. Accommodation.

 

DAY 09 STOCKHOLM – LILLEHAMMER

Breakfast. Depart for Lillehammer. We will cross the impressive landscapes of the province of Varmland with its great lakes and forests and we will pass through Hamar located on the shores of Lake Mjosa. The city hosted the ice skating events during the 1994 Winter Olympics. Accommodation.

 

DAY 10 LILLEHAMMER – FJORDS – VOSS

Breakfast. Morning departure to Borgund passing through charming towns nestled in a beautiful mountainous landscape with fjords, waterfalls and lakes where the best preserved wooden church in Norway is located. Continuation to Flam or Aurland where we take the ferry to Gudvangen crossing the most beautiful part of the Sogner Fjord. Disembarkation, optional excursion on the Flam train (Flamsbana) continuation by coach to Voss. Accommodation.

 

DAY 11 VOSS – BERGEN – FJORDS

Breakfast and departure to Bergen, one of the oldest cities in Norway, located on a promontory on the shores of the North Sea. As places of greatest interest, the Fortress, the Hakonshallen, the Bryggen (port facilities from the 16th century) and the romantic-style church of Mary stand out. Accommodation.

 

DAY 12 FJORDS – OSLO

Breakfast. Departure to the Norwegian capital through an enchanting mountainous landscape. Accommodation in Oslo.

 

DAY 13 OSLO

Breakfast. Visit of the “Viking capital”, located at the bottom of the homonymous Fjord, passing through the Town Hall, the Akershus castle, the Royal Palace, the Parliament and the Vigeland Park with the famous bronze sculptures of Gustav Vigeland. In the afternoon, time to visit the maritime museums located on Bygdöy Island, which house the famous Viking ships, where the ship of the Viking Queen Asa stands out. We recommend a visit to the Framhaus museum with the polar ship Fram, built for Captain Nansen on his epic journey to the North Pole. Finally we visit the Kontiki Museum with its rafts built from papyrus reeds by Thor Heyerdahl who crossed the Ocean with them from Peru to Polynesia. Afternoon free to stroll through the “lively” district of Oslo called Akerbrygge, revitalized port facilities with restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops. Accommodation.

 

DAY 14 OSLO – COPENHAGEN

Breakfast. Departure to Copenhagen leaving the Oslo fjord behind and going through a typical Nordic landscape. In the city of Malmo to cross the Oresund Bridge, with its total length of 7,845 meters it is one of the longest bridges in the world. Crossing the bridge we are already in Copenhagen. Free time and accommodation.

 

DAY 15 COPENHAGEN

Breakfast. City tour, visiting the main monuments and historical places, such as the Town Hall Square, the National Museum, the Stock Exchange building, the Christiansborg Palace, the Goddess Gefion fountain and the Nyhavn port. Walking through Langelinjese you reach the emblem of the city, the famous Mermaid. Accommodation.

 

DAY 16 COPENHAGEN

Breakfast and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of our services.
