Three European Capitals

ITINERARY

DAY 01 MADRID

Arrival at Madrid Barajas International Airport. Assistance by our correspondent and transfer to the hotel. The city of Madrid is the capital of Spain, with elegant boulevards and wide, well-kept parks, such as the Buen Retiro. It is famous for its rich collections of European art. 

DAY 02 MADRID

Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic visit of the city with a wide tour through its most important avenues, squares and buildings: Gran Vía, Cibeles and the City Hall, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente where the Royal Palace is located, Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza Castilla… Rest of the day at leisure for shopping, or take our recommendation to visit the Prado Museum. 

DAY 03 MADRID – TOLEDO – MADRID

Breakfast. Today includes a half day visit to the Imperial city of Toledo to visit its historical-artistic complex considered a National Monument and World Heritage Site. Return to Madrid and rest of the time at leisure. In the evening you can enjoy an evening in Spanish style, delighting your senses with Spanish tapas, drinks and typical music. 

DAY 04 MADRID – BORDEAUX

Breakfast and departure towards the north of Spain via Burgos and San Sebastian to the French border and crossing the Pyrenees we will arrive at the city of Bordeaux, capital of Aquitaine and World Heritage Site, an important wine region. 

DAY 05 BORDEAUX – LOIRE VALLEY – ORLÉANS

Breakfast. Departure via Poitiers and Tours, where a short tour of the fertile Loire Valley begins. Short stop in Amboise to admire its impressive castle and enjoy the medieval town, where Leonardo da Vinci lived. Continue to Chambord castle, free time to visit one of the greatest architectural exponents of this valley. Then on to Orléans, the city of Joan of Arc. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. 

DAY 6 ORLÉANS-CALAIS-DOVER-LONDON

Breakfast. Departure to the port of Calais, where you will board the ferry to cross the English Channel. Disembarkation at the English port of Dover and continuation by coach to London. Overnight in London.

DAY 07 LONDON

Accommodation and breakfast. Morning sightseeing tour of this cosmopolitan city to see the main sights such as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace with the changing of the Royal Guard, weather permitting. Rest of the day at leisure. We recommend an optional excursion to visit Windsor Castle, considered to be the largest inhabited fortress in the world and the historic center of England, located 50 km from the capital. On the way back to the city, visit the oldest part of the city, destroyed in the fire of 1666, to see the City of London, the world’s financial center, St Paul’s Cathedral, the famous Tower Bridge, and the oldest fortress in England: the Tower of London. 

DAY 08 LONDON

Breakfast. Free day for personal activities, to continue getting to know one of the most lively capitals in the world, to go shopping in its famous shops or to visit some of its museums. In the evening you will be able to go on the famous London Eye, where you will enjoy a wonderful view of the cosmopolitan city. 

DAY 09 LONDON – FOLKESTONE – EUROTUNNEL – CALAIS – PARIS

Breakfast and departure to Folkestone to board the “Le Shuttle” train and cross the English Channel through the Eurotunnel to Calais, once in French territory we will continue in our bus to Paris. Overnight stay. Possibility of an optional visit of “Paris Illuminated” and a cruise on the Seine. 

DAY 10 PARIS

Overnight stay and breakfast. In the morning panoramic tour of the City of Light to visit its most emblematic places such as Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Ile de la Cité with the imposing Church of Notre Dame, National Palace of the Invalides where Napoleon’s tomb is located, with a brief stop at the Champs de Mars to photograph the Eiffel Tower. In the afternoon we recommend an optional excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, a World Heritage Site, to see its imposing architecture and beautiful gardens. In the evening, you can optionally attend the Lido de Paris, one of the most famous shows in the world. 

DAY 11 PARIS

Desayuno. Día libre para visitar opcionalmente el imprescindible Disney París o por la mañana podrás visitar Montmartre o Barrio Latino, así como el Museo del Louvre, con obras tan importantes como “La Mona Lisa”, “La Victoria de Samotracia”, o “La Venus de Milo». También podrás seguir descubriendo otros rincones con encanto de esta ciudad cosmopolita. 

DAY 12 PARIS

Breakfast and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of our services.
